Marilyn Manson / Cradle of Filth
Marilyn Manson
Formed in 1993 under the name Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, they have always been a band that thrived on bad publicity. Since their first album Portrait of an American Family which was a hard hitting stab at American white bread family valuses, thay have become one of the most talked about bands on the planet (sometimes not for the best reasens.) They have had four succesful albums (Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holywood being the other three). Mansons new album Holywood (in the shadow of the valley of death) is his best offering to date, and was fuelled by the accusations thrown at him regarding the Colubine High shootings in USA, in which he was used as a scapegoat. Anyone who listens to the Holywood album will agree that Manosn has a lot of hate inside him and this continues to provide awesome albums.

Band and Members:
The band is made up out of 5 people who have taken names of famous models and serial killers. Marilyn Manson (Marilyn Manroe, Charles Manson) Twiggy Remeriaz, Daisy Berkawitz, Madonna Wayne Gacy, Sara Lee Lucas. This line up has now changed to Manson, Twiggy, Ginger Fish, John5 and MW Gacy.

Cradle of Filth
The most Dark and Disturbing band I have ever heard. Classed as Black Metal they are one of the most atmospheric bands you'll hear. They have always kept their Gothic look and Vampric style and mixed it with sometimes melodic instrumentals which crates an effect that can leave you feeling like you've experianced something very special. They're always been accused of something whether its Which Craft of Vampirism, the funny thing is people think that thses accusations are real. They have released six top class albums, the best in my opinion being Principle of Evil Made Flesh. Its starts off very melodic with a tune reminisant of the Exorcist, then the beat kicks in and Dani's lyrics come into their own. In the final track Summers Dying they create an effect that makes evan the Occult seem emotional.
Their other albums include, Dusk and Her Embrace, From the Cradle to Enslave, Vempire Cruelty and the Beast and Midian. I've seen them live and they are a massive recomendation, Danis' vocals are the most extreme thing ever live.
The Band
The band is made up of six people, Dani Filth on vocal, Robin Graves on the pulse, Martin Powell on Keyboards, Adrian Erlanderson on drums, Paul Allender on guitar and Gian Pyres on Bass/Rythem guitar.
